Day 1: On our way to San Miguel, we will go through
Monterrey the third largest city and considered the industrial pole of Mexico. We continue on to Saltillo where you will have lunch, continuing to San Luis Potosí for the night. Our hotel is the
centered near the main square.

Day 2: Today we will explore the city, (Nicknamed "The City of Gardens,") San Luis Potosí has at least one garden in each of its seven original districts. At the main plaza you will visit the Cathedral built in the late 1600th century and the Government buildings. You will enjoy the beautiful architecture as you stroll through the streets. Arrive in San Miguel mid afternoon, night in San Miguel.

Day 3: City tour of San Miguel. Visit the Allende Institute, which houses art students from all over America. You will find it among the arcades and fountains of a palace built by the Condede la Canal. The rest of your day is free and leisurely. Take time to shop, see “La Parroquia” a Neo-Gothic 19th century church, or take a stroll in the downtown plaza. Night in San Miguel.

Day 4: On the way to Guanajuato, we will stop in the quaint town of Dolores Hidalgo and explore the historic church where Father Hidalgo summoned the Indians together to commence the War for Independence in 1810. On to Guanajuato, a beautiful colonial city where you will find narrow cobblestone streets where riverbeds used to flow. We will visit the statue of Pipila giving you a panoramic view of the city, which resembles many of the cities in Spain. Explore the Valenciana silver mine, the Church of Valenciana, the Plaza Reforma and the colorful market where you will find many arts and crafts hand made by local artisans. Night in San Miguel.

| Day 5: Depart for San Luis Potosi. Along the road, we visit Queretaro, a city famous for its beautiful, fiery opals and its 250 year old aqueducts. We will also see the Convent of the Cross which was designed by the same Franciscan Monk who designed the Alamo. Next stop, Santa Maria del Rio, known worldwide for its famous silk shawls. Admire the manual weaving of this precious garment and learn its different uses in cocktail parties. Night in San Luis Potosí.

Day 6: Leave San Luis Potosi behind and travel
through some beautiful country as we go back to Texas. Delightful
