Day 1: Coming into
Monterrey we will make a quick stop where they blown glass as a
trade passed down from generation to generation creating family
artisan shops such as the one you will visit today . |

The Grand Plaza and
its surroundings include the magnificently built Government Palace,
the solemn Cathedral and the statues of four Mexican patriots. The
Fountain of Life, located toward the center of the Plaza. The main
construction material that forms this sculpture is bronze. It is
composed of eight figures, being the Neptune god the prevailing
composition statue. This monument was conceived by the Spanish
artist Luis Sanguino and the water represents the vital element as
origin of life. . |
Day 2: Early in the morning, you'll depart toward Saltillo, former capital of Texas. Upon arrival you will visit a sarape factory where artisans can be seen operating the old-fashioned manual looms. The beautiful designs of their weaving efforts are available for sale at the quaint shop. Just a short stroll away, the Cathedral and Government Palace surround the beautifully renovated town plaza. We will go to the new RIVER WALK and take a ride down the river it's very nice. Rest of the evening free time. Buffet Breakfast |
.Day 3: After a great breakfast you will visit the enchanting Horsetail Falls which really looks like a horses tail. We will continue on to the enchanting little town of Villa de Santiago where we will have lunch. After lunch we will have time to stretch our legs while visiting Los Cavazos craft market. Then back to the Valley arriving late afternoon. Buffet Breakfast |
