Mexico City has it all, from its ancient past as the Aztec
Metropoli of Tenochtitlan to a place where men became gods at
Teotihuacan. With its Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, colonial

Day 1: After leaving the Rio Grande Valley, you will
soon be passing through the third largest city,
Monterrey. Your drive will take you through mountains, by apple
orchards and of course lots of different kinds of cactus. Near the
city of Matehuala, keep an eye out for rattle snake skins hanging on
posts for sale. Overnight in San Luis Potosi. Hotel Panorama located
at the Main Plaza. Day 2: Sightseeing in San Luis Potosi, including
the main Plaza, Zocalo, Cathedral and Plaza del Carmen. Then off to
San Miguel De Allende. San Miguel is a city clinging to a mountain
slope where rows of adobe huts are perched on the terraces of the
higher hills and the buildings in the city have stone walls. Find
out why this is the second largest retirement area in Mexico for
Americans and Canadians alike. A stroll downtown and shopping will
be a great finish to a beautiful day.

Day 3:
Leaving San Miguel early we head to the largest City in Mexico, Mexico
City. Arriving in Mexico City our path will take us to the Downtown
area, downtown area, visiting the National Palace, Templo Major,
Cathedral and more. Night Mexico City. Breakfast
Day 4: Today you will visit the
Shrine of Guadalupe, considered the most religious shrine in North
America, Pyramids of Teotihuacan, including the pyramids of the Sun
and the Moon, Avenue of Death and more. Night in

Day 5: Today you’ll visit
Cuernavaca, a long time favorite second home of Mexico City’s elite.
Then you’ll continue to Taxco, the silver capital of Mexico, a city
draped over the mountainside like cascading bougainvillea, the
beauty of its red tiled roofs, winding cobblestone lanes and
colonial architecture. Overnight in Mexico City. Breakfast |
Day 6: Today
you’ll continue to Tampico, a large seaport city. Soon after leaving
Mexico City, you will start your way down through a very scenic
semitropical mountain road, passing small mountain villages where a
mixture of Nahuatl Indians, Totonac Indians and Mexican people live

| Day 7: Returning home through the lowlands of
Soto La Marina and San Fernando, bringing memories of a most enjoyable visit
